Introduction: Attachment to God and human spiritual growth have increasingly attracted the attention of psychologists and mental health professionals in the past few decades. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim of determining the mediating role of attachment to God in relation to spiritual intelligence and life satisfaction of married female students in Qom.
Method: In this study, attachment to God was designed by first carefully reviewing and studying the theoretical literature and analyzing the studies of researchers in the field of spiritual intelligence and life satisfaction with religious themes. In the next stage, based on the mental model and dynamic hypotheses made of the action-reactions between the involved factors, qualitative modeling was carried out in the form of drawing cause-effect diagrams. Then, a questionnaire was administered to 120 married female students in Qom who were selected by simple random sampling and data analysis was performed using SPSS and Amos software.
Findings: The results showed that the interaction between the two components of devotion to God and spiritual intelligence in the form of a dynamic and relatively complex system plays a fundamental role in contextualizing the structure of life satisfaction from the point of view of religious teachings. Life satisfaction is related to the interaction with spiritual intelligence and devotion to God.
Conclusion: Paying attention to the interconnected relationship of the components of spiritual intelligence with the mediating role of devotion to God shows that religious teachings in the form of a comprehensive and dynamic system are essential in all policy-making areas of individual life satisfaction.
