Health, Spirituality and Medical Ethics (HSME) is owned by Qom University of Medical Sciences and co-published by Negah Institute for Scientific Communication.

Our philosophy is that all research exists to serve humanity. Research is funded by public or institutional resources, and its results should be accessible to all, regardless of geographic, social, or economic boundaries. Therefore, HSME provides full and free online open access to all its content immediately upon publication, without any embargo.

All publication costs are fully supported by Qom University of Medical Sciences. Hence, authors are not required to pay Article Processing Charges (APCs), and all readers can freely download, share, or distribute articles without any restrictions.

In accordance with the Bethesda Statement on Open Access Publishing (2003), Health, Spirituality and Medical Ethics complies fully with open access mandates by publishing all articles under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license.

• Authors retain the copyright of their articles.

• Articles can be deposited immediately in institutional or subject repositories, social networks, or personal websites without any embargo.

• Users are permitted to copy, distribute, display, and perform the work for non-commercial purposes, provided that the original work is properly cited.

Authors can:

• Email their articles to colleagues

• Print or archive them

• Include them in course packs

• Reuse them in other works with proper attribution
