زمینه و هدف: پرستاران اغلب با چالش­های زیادی در زندگی مواجه می­شوند که بر بهزیستی­شان تاثیر منفی می­گذارد. هدف این پژوهش بررسی نقش میانجی  خودفراروی در رابطه آسیب‌پذیری روان‌شناختی با بهزیستی کاری پرستاران شهر بیرجند بود.
روش بررسی: پژوهش حاضر توصیفی از نوع همبستگی با رویکرد مدل­یابی معادلات ساختاری بود. جامعه آماری شامل کلیه پرستاران شاغل در بیمارستان‌های دولتی شهر بیرجند در سال 1399 (795 N=) و حجم نمونه این پژوهش 440 نفر بوده و نمونه گیری به شیوه دردسترس انجام شد. ابزار گردآوری داده­ها شامل مقیاس آسیب­پذیری روانشناختی ، خرده مقیاس خود فراروی پرسشنامه شخصیت و منش  و مقیاس بهزیستی کاری بود. داده‌ها با استفاده از نرم‌افزار SPSS22 و LISREL8.8 و تحلیل معادلات ساختاری مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت.
یافته‌ها: یافته‌ها نشان داد که مسیر مستقیم آسیب پذیری روانشناختی به پذیرش معنوی، خودفراموشی خلاقانه و هویت فرافردی منفی و معنی‌دار) 01/0>p)  است.  مسیر مستقیم پذیرش معنوی، خودفراموشی خلاقانه و هویت فرافردی به بهزیستی کاری مثبت و معنی دار (01/0>p) است. به‌علاوه مشخص شد مسیر غیر مستقیم بین آسیب‌پذیری روان‌شناختی و بهزیستی کاری ازطریق پذیرش معنوی، خودفراموشی خلاقانه و هویت فرافردی معنی دار است ) 01/0>p).  
نتیجه‌گیری: بر اساس یافته های مطالعه، خودفراروی می‌تواند نقش غیرمستقیم معنی‌داری در کاهش اثرات منفی آسیب‌پذیری روان‌شناختی بر بهزیستی کاری پرستاران بگذارد. بنابراین می­توان با بکار بستن برنامه آموزش خود مراقبتی براساس تئوری خودفراروی رشد، ابعاد سه‌گانه خود فراروی پرستاران را ارتقا و بهزیستی کاری را افزایش و آسیب پذیری روانشناختی آنها را کاهش داد.
