هدف مطالعه حاضر تبیین جامعه‌شناختی عوامل مرتبط با راهبرد­های حل مسئله اجتماعی در دختران و پسران آماده ازدواج مراجعه‌کننده به مرکز مشاوره بهارنکو شیراز است. روش مورد استفاده پیمایش و حجم نمونه 912 نفر است. برای تبیین حل مسئله اجتماعی از نظریه دزریلا و بوردیو به‌عنوان چارچوب نظری استفاده شده است. یافته­ها بیانگر آن است که بین راهبرد حل مسئله منطقی و سلامت معنوی (وجودی و مذهبی) رابطه مثبت، و معناداری وجود دارد. هم‌چنین بین راهبرد حل مسئله منطقی و سلامت اجتماعی رابطه مثبت و معناداری وجود دارد. نتایج رگرسیون گام به گام نیز نشان داد که متغیرهای مستقل توانسته‌اند 5/21 درصد از  راهبرد حل مسئله منطقی، 7/19 درصد از راهبرد حل مسئله بی دقت و 7/32 درصد از راهبرد حل مسئله آشفته را پیش‌بینی کنند.
