زمینه و هدف: ترس از زایمان واکنشی روانشناختی است، که به دلایل مختلفی در هنگام وضع حمل بستگی دارد. مطالعه حاضر با هدف بررسی رابطه بین سلامت معنوی و ترس از زایمان در زنان باردار مراجعه کننده به بیمارستان های دولتی شهرستان ارومیه در سال 2020 طراحی و انجام شد.
مواد و روش‌ کار: مطالعه مقطعی همبستگی حاضر، بر روی 300 زن باردار مراجعه کننده بیمارستان های دولتی شهرستان ارومیه به روش نمونه گیری در دسترس انجام گرفت. ابزار گرد¬آوری داده¬ها شامل پرسشنامه ویژگی های دموگرافیک و مشخصات مامایی؛ پرسشنامه ترس از زایمان ویجیما و رز (1988) و سلامت معنوی پالوتزیان و الیسون (1983) بود. داده ها با استفاده از نرم افزار SPSS نسخه 16 و آزمون های تی تست مستقل، آنالیز واریانس و ضریب همبستگی پیرسون در سطح معنی داری 05/0 تجزیه و تحلیل شدند.
یافته‌ها: یافته ها نشان داد که بین سطح تحصیلات، شغل، درآمد، صاحب خانه شخصی بودن، اعتقاد مذهبی، تعداد دفعات سقط، رضایت زناشویی، نداشتن سابقه درمان نازایی با سلامت معنوی و ترس از زایمان رابطه معنادار آماری وجود داشت (p<0.05). همچنین، تمام ابعاد سلامت معنوی همچون سلامت مذهبی و سلامت وجودی نیز با ترس از زایمان همبستگی مثبت قوی و معنادار آماری داشت (p<0.0001).
بحث و نتیجه‌گیری: بر اساس نتایج این مطالعه سلامت معنوی بالا در زنان باردار با کاهش ترس از زایمان در آنها همراه است و در این راستا با در نظر گرفتن برنامه هایی برای ارتقاء سلامت معنوی زنان باردار می توان یکی از مشکلات مهم و پراسترس آنها را به نام ترس از زایمان کاهش داد.
